About
During the candle making workshop you will begin by choosing your vessel from the wide and eclectic selection that Jennifer has curated. You will explore essential oils, learn about their properties, uses and which fragrances combine well together. Once you have decided on the fragrance, you will prep your candle and melt your soy wax. This is a hands on workshop where you will be given full instruction to take part in the whole making process. We will also touch on trouble shooting issues and how to help overcome them.
You will make one candle, take home your annotated printed instructions and if the weather allows, a wander in the Lavender garden – any questions on the garden and Lavender care welcome.
The candles you make will need 24hrs to cure so I will either arrange collection or deliver these back to you a few days later.
Any more than one candle made per person is then charged at £15.00.
If you would like to bring your own vessel this is absolutely fine, please make sure it is safe to use with hot wax.
Items can be purchased from the workshop, cash and card accepted.
Refreshments of cake and a cuppa included.
To note
- There are several small steps throughout the visit.
- It is your responsibility to inform Jennifer if any members of your group have any allergies.

About
Lavender wreath making happens in the summer months when the Lavender is in bloom. This is typically June through to August.
You will enter through the courtyard garden where every Lavender plant you see was grown through propagation. From here you are introduced to the workshop where all the Lavender items are designed, created and displayed. Then on to the main experimental Lavender garden, which was planted seven years ago. In this garden there is a choice of Pink, White and Purple varieties to choose from. You will cut your own Lavender and using the base provided you will be taught how to build up your wreath. All equipment is provided. Your wreath can go home with you on the day and be displayed indoors for you to enjoy.
Refreshments of cake and a cuppa included.
